Solutions for the Personal Struggle

I’ve been struggling with low consciousness habits and tendencies that are keeping me from living a creative, heart-centered lifestyle, and they’re bringing with them a dull, negative outlook on life that can be hard to escape.

I notice that I feel better when I write, play music or express myself in another way, but the problem has been finding the motivation to actually do those things. I don’t know how the evolutionary process is playing out for all of you right now, but I’m being forced to confront everything about myself that’s holding me back and making it difficult to approach my work with any kind of enthusiasm.

I’m realizing that I won’t be able to continue with this work if I don’t make some serious inner changes, because my low consciousness habits are causing me to feel depressed, unmotivated to work and unsure that I’m even helping anyone or doing anything significant. The mail I receive from all of you convinces me otherwise, but battling these negative thoughts and feelings can be difficult.

When I look at things from a certain perspective, I feel naïve and silly for even thinking I could continue on, but I’m well aware that miracles are possible if one keeps going and refuses to give up so that’s exactly what I’m going to do. The purpose of this post isn’t to complain about life or list a bunch of reasons why I feel like I should stop working – it’s to vent a little before I describe how I (and maybe some of you who are experiencing something similar) can get out of this situation.

As far as I can tell, the solution is love and openness. I know this sounds generic, but every time I can genuinely come back to love when I’m feeling low, it works wonders. When I struggle to write, I usually call on love and patiently wait as the creative flow builds back up. When I struggle with negativity or depression, I use the umph love provides to get out and exercise (or just sit outside) and clear my head.

Love has helped me get through hard times, and along with openness, which can allow us to clear out our depressing thoughts, it can save us from our own negativity. It can inspire us to keep going when we don’t feel like we can continue on, and if we repeatedly call on it when we struggle, it can flow through us and produce amazing results.

For me, love, openness and an active lifestyle are the best solutions. I want to keep writing, and if possible, write even more. I want to keep composing and playing music. I want to dedicate myself to my family and make sure we all have good times. I want to dedicate myself to everything life has for me, instead of giving in to negative qualities that fog my brain and make me feel unmotivated and useless.

I want to be more open to all of the spiritual material that’s out there, and I want to write about it all. I want to write about the Ra material and any other channeled works that seem genuine. I want to write about all of the things spiritual teachers have told us throughout the ages. I want to connect with my own higher consciousness and channel a wealth of spiritual guidance in hopes that it’d help other people.

I want to embrace the good and the bad times, and I want to persevere and get through any obstacles.

Those of you who read my work every day might know that my experiences inspire most of my writing, and when I write about creative difficulty, it’s usually because I’ve experienced it and I’m using writing to search for a way to understand it better and maybe even find a solution.

Creative blocks have frustrated me as much as anyone else who wants to write every day for a living, but I’m ready to embrace them and eventually get through them. I’m ready to take as much ‘time’ as I need to get through any difficulties that come my way – creative or otherwise – and I no longer want to let the fear of failure stop me.

I’ve read plenty of articles that are centered on never starting a project because someone’s afraid to fail, but I only recently realized that I do it all the time. Now that I’m understanding how fear can hold me back, I’m motivated to write through any fear that presents itself and find the patience, presence and centeredness to keep on when the creative flow seems absent.

I know I’ve said this before, but I’m ready to take the next step on this journey, which will require me to confront and do away with the things that hold me back. I no longer want to stop myself from being a dedicated creative force for the light every single day, and I want to contribute as much as every other spiritual writer who’s helping the masses wake up, empower themselves and evolve.

I’m ready for the next level, and while there’ll be plenty of challenges, I no longer fear them. I want to embrace them and every lesson they have for me, and I’ll invite all of you to do the same.

If you’ve been struggling with negativity, fatigue or creative blocks, keep going. No matter what, don’t let them keep you from being a massive creative force. We have love, our higher consciousness and our creator by our side, so no matter how hard the dark side (which lives in each of us, whether or not we want to admit it) tries to stop us, we’re here to inspire a collective awakening and we can’t give up.

The journey won’t always be easy, but as long as we keep going, we’ll know we’re on the right path. Only when we let negativity, apathy or foggy-headedness bring us down will we stray from the path, and as long as we’re trying, we’ll know we’re fulfilling our purpose.

So keep on, and stay strong in tough times. Things will improve, but we have to make a real, lasting, dedicated effort first.

  1. Dear Wes,
It seems that what your are getting through is excatly what “spiritual” people is experiencing at the moment, and yes, I would personally confirm that LOVE is the anwear to all of this…. for me too….. Withouth love would be impossible to keep walking (and stumbling) alongh the path.
6 Years ago I have experienced a channelling experience: something called RA (I did not know who was RA…) gave me a message …… it was saying that “spiritual people” would have gone through a confusion period because of many messages from spirit world were going to be so many and from different sources that “spiritual people” were going to be very confusing… the solution was to hold the personal inner light and focus only on this: being centered and listen to OWN LIGHT, THAT LITTLE LIGHT THAT SHINES INSIDE US AND CENTER ON THAT ONLY.
I did not understand the above words then, but increasigly I can see the purpose and the reality that came over these years…..
I am sending my best wishes, we are one and experiencing same feelings…..
    Love, Annalisa

    • Thanks so much for sharing this, Annalisa! I couldn’t agree more with the guidance you received, and following our own inner love and light is the best way to go. Do you happen to know who Ra is now? The soul collective ‘Ra’ was channeled by Carla Rueckert in the 80s into a series of books known as the ‘Law of One’. I’ve written quite a few reports about that material. What an amazing synchronicity that you just happen to be mentioning it now!

      Much love 🙂
